OCCASIONAL CINEMA

Occasional Cinema is an ongoing project that temporarily transforms neglected, reclaimed or hijacked spaces for open air film nights.

It's basicaly a laptop, soundsystem and a truckload of short films, with work from new and aspiring directors, classic television, music videos from the past 40 years and local and campaign news. A cinematic mixtape if you like.

Anyone can do it, it's dead easy.

It's a diy, community minded event with a very broad range, not funded by anybody, there's no entry fee and it happens for the sake of it.

If you'd like to get involved, that'd be great. There's always something to do and helping ROCKS!

If you are a director, producer, dj, band or artist who has work you'd like to put on the OC playlist please get in touch. It's a community cinema, everyone makes it what it is. That includes you. x.
