62 MILE HIGH CLUB
62 Mile High Club is a brand new project preparing to launch in 2010, with support from none other than the notorious Drop Music label.
Their first release ‘The Money’ looks set to take the dancefloors by force, and is just the first of many releases in the pipeline.
Hailing from the UK, the pair are made up of house music stalwart Andrew Mcloughlin, a member of the well renowned and highly prolific Kinky Movement from Nottingham, who since 2004 have notched up countless e.p’s and remixes on various deep house labels from around the globe; and vocalist Bonnie Wrongford who is bursting onto the scene with a string of releases with different artists, and who is also one part of the Bristol,UK band The Wrongtourage.
Although Kinky movement have no intention of slowing up, Andrew felt it was time to branch out and try new things, allowing him to take risks with his style and move in different directions without altering the output of Kinky Movement, who by all accounts, seem to have it pretty tied up as they are. The resulting outcome of joining forces with Bonnie, with whom he had already worked on some Kinky movement tracks, is the 62 mile High Club.
This new pairing, although only just taking off, are already enjoying the benefits that only a highly exclusive club such as this can provide...and as long as they continue to find the time to make it into the studio between sipping cocktails on the flight deck and getting Kinky at high altitude, then they look set to go from strength to strength.
Bringing together the all original lyrics and vocals of Ms Wrongford with Andrew’s formidable production skills, to focus on a more vocal style of track, the pair intend to move from a firm grounding in the house music scene into new orbits with some slower tracks, as well as procuring remixes by carefully selected artists who can add new twists to what they do.
Look out for future releases and prepare for lift off! 5,4,3,2,1.............................
